A sad accident occurred this morning near the Arcadia Shops on Seke Road involving a blue Kombi that operates in Harare’s Central Business District and Epworth.
The accident happened around 7 o’clock when the Kombi lost control and crashed into a tree near a gas station. Some witnesses claimed that another vehicle cut off the Kombi, causing the driver to lose control. Others said the driver was speeding and the brakes failed to stop the car in time.
According to Crime Watch Zimbabwe, the Kombi driver and one passenger lost their lives on the spot. Many people were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital. The Kombi was badly damaged. Many people blamed the driver for reckless driving.

People are calling for action against reckless Kombi drivers who cause many accidents in Zimbabwe. In this area, accidents are often caused by traffic congestion. Today’s accident was serious, and many feared lives could be lost due to the serious injuries suffered.
