Barcelona star Lamine Yamal dumps girlfriend after he saw her sitting on another boy’s lap

Lamine Yamal has reportedly unfollowed his girlfriend Alex Padilla on social media after she appeared in a viral video. Alex was seen in an Instagram live video sitting on another boy’s lap.

This happened shortly after the couple was seen looking affectionate on the pitch in Berlin following Spain’s Euro 2024 victory. They had also traveled together to Milan and Greece during Yamal’s time off.

However, the 17-year-old has now unfollowed Alex on Instagram, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. She has also unfollowed the Barcelona starlet and removed all her posts. Alleged footage of Alex sitting on the boy’s lap quickly went viral, leading fans to accuse her of cheating on Yamal.

The couple had publicly announced their relationship after the final victory over England. Yamal and Alex were seen together with the trophy and his Young Player of the Tournament award. Alex, an influencer with over three-quarter of a million followers on Instagram, also attended several of Spain’s matches during the tournament.

Yamal, who started Euro 2024 aged 16 and celebrated his birthday on July 13, was the breakout star of the tournament. He scored the winning goal in the semi-finals against France and provided four assists in all seven of Spain’s matches.
