Blessed Geza, an outspoken war veteran and rabid critic of Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa, is now on police wanted list.
Policing authorities said Geza, who is also known as Bombshell, is facing four counts, including insulting or undermining the Zimbabwe leader.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is seeking information on the location, and subsequent questioning of a suspect, Blessed Runesu Geza, alias Bombshell,” partly reads a statement from the police.
The police further stated that:
“The suspect is facing four counts of criminal charges as outlined: theft allegations as defined in Section 113 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act Chapter 9:23. (Geza) stole and disposed three vehicles belonging to a complainant without his consent”.
According to the statement, Geza is also facing two counts of “undermining the authority of or insulting” Mnangagwa.
The police further accuse Geza of having an intention to incite public violence.
In recent weeks, Geza has been hogging the media limelight after he led a group of war veterans who are rabidly opposed to a section of Zanu PF supporters calling for an extension of Mnangagwa’s tenure of office beyond 2028.
