Award-winning Zimbabwean hip-hop artist, Ti Gonzi, has promised to launch his latest offering, ’20Twenty-Fight’ on his birthday.
Event organisers say the event will take place on 5 April at Jongwe Corner in the capital, Harare.
The much anticipated event will feature live performances from acclaimed Zimbabwean artists who include Ishan, Holy Ten, Nutty O and many more.
The latest album comes as Ti Gonzi is riding high on the heels of his preceding offering which has tracks such as Madhunamutuna, Handichambokufunga and Kure, solidifying his influence in the Zimbabwean music scene.
Ti Gonzi’s latest album is a collection of songs addressing personal experiences and social themes.
The artist has, to date, released five albums, including From Boyz to Men, which he unveiled on his birthday last year.
The hip-hop crooner is revered for his powerful and unique social commentary, especially in an era where many young, mainstream artists appear to shy away from addressing the socio-political and economic issues that affect the general citizenry.
