A man from Harare who had planned a Valentine’s Day surprise for his girlfriend was left with an egg on the face after the girl in question had already gone on a date with another man.

The unfortunate guy, whose video has gone viral on many social networking platforms, had planned a surprise saxophone performance for his girl, drawing the attention of many passersby and bystanders in central Harare.

In the video clip, the young man, holding a bunch of immaculate roses, talks to someone on the phone, presumably the girlfriend in question.

As fate would have it, the girl failed to show up, inviting derisional noises from bystanders who were already filming real drama in real life using their mobile phones.

It was, indeed, a public love show gone wrong.
