The hunt for outspoken war veteran Blessed Geza by Zimbabwean authorities has now reached new levels following revelations that the former liberation war fighter is now on Facial Recognition System (FRS) at Beitbridge Border Post.
The latest development implies that Geza, a Zanu PF central committee member who is also wanted by the police on multiple criminal charges, will be picked by the monitor the moment he enters the border area.
Geza will now be picked the moment the first camera hits his face.
Sources who spoke to one regional publication said Geza was carded into the FRS as a wanted person, three days ago.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) recently issued a statement saying they are looking for Geza on various criminal allegations.
Analysts have raised eyebrows over the fact that some of the alleged crimes were committed several years ago, only for the police to start showing interest when Geza started attacking President Mnangagwa over corruption a few weeks ago.
Geza also called upon Mnangagwa to resign.
There is also growing speculation that Geza is currently being shielded from facing police arrest by certain powerful people.
