President Emmerson Mnangagwa will not extend his term beyond the year 2028.
Speaking to editors from various media organisation at State House this Monday, Mnangagwa said that he will govern strictly within the bounds of the Constitution and will not extend his term beyond what is stipulated.
His remarks come at a time when dissenting war veterans, led by Blessed Runesu Geza, have come out publicly accusing Mnangagwa of harboring dictatorial motives by wishing to extend his presidential term beyond the 2028 elections.
