CERN is inviting ambitious undergraduates and postgraduates from around the world to apply for its prestigious Administrative Student Program 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland. This fully funded international internship is open to students pursuing administrative fields, offering a rare chance to gain practical experience at one of Europe’s most respected research organisations — all without paying any application fee or needing an IELTS certificate. What Is the CERN Administrative Student Program?
The CERN Administrative Student Program is an opportunity for students in administrative disciplines to spend 2 to 12 months working with professionals at the CERN Headquarters in Geneva. The programme is open to 50 selected interns who will contribute their academic knowledge and grow their professional skills in an international environment.
What Will I Receive As A Selected Intern?
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 3452 CHF (approx. ZAR 74,400 / USD 3,900), along with several other benefits:
Fully paid return airfare (economy class) to/from Switzerland
Health insurance coverage
Family allowance, where applicable
2.5 days of paid leave per month

Who Is Eligible?
To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
Have completed at least 18 months (3 semesters) of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an administrative field
Remain a full-time registered student during the entire internship period
Have a good command of English or French
Note: This opportunity is not open to students from science, engineering or technical disciplines. Such applicants are encouraged to apply to the CERN Technical Student Programme instead.

At least one reference letter
