Dineo Ranaka allegedly departed Kaya FM after opening out about her struggle with depression, which led to her admittance to a mental health facility, although her stay was short as she discharged herself.
According to the Sunday World, Ranaka began mutually beneficial separation discussions with her radio station, Kaya FM, over a year after being hired to conduct the Breakfast programme with Sol Phenduka.
Sizwe Dhlomo took her position on the radio station, and she is presently on a healing path.
Dineo Ranaka claimed that while she is no longer suicidal, she is nonetheless suffering from depression.
“The biggest question is: is Dineo suicidal? The answer WAS yes but is now NO! It is NO because to break the curse I have to believe and say that I’m NOT!!!”
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with Severe Chronic Depression… I feel like I need to allow myself to re-introduce myself to MYSELF because I’ve been a high-functioning person with depression. And this is dangerous! VERY DANGEROUS!”
