Skomota’s fans destroy property after he failed to show up

Viral sensation Skomota is making headlines after he failed to pitch for a booked gig. No doubt, in the backdrop of his newfound fame, he had been busy and booked.

Skomota had managed to wow many with his signature dance moves, which have since become TikTok challenges.

However, reports have it that Skomota and his management failed to pitch for a show despite assuring promoters to be available.

Skomota was booked in Brits in the North West province. He was one of the stars to perform during the Fireworks Display Event at the Maungo A Matsapa Lodge on 1 January 2024 but failed to pitch.

Unconfirmed reports have it that due to his no-show, frustrated fans damaged property at the venue. Both parties have since released statements in the backdrop of the trends.

The show organisers told the media, “Skomota, who had been booked to perform at Maungo A Matsapa Lodge, decided to pull a no-show for us, which left our customers and management deeply disappointed.”

“We were told that they are on their way, and when we realised that we were unable to reach them at their respective time slot, we were unable to apologise because of the events that transpired afterwards,” added the show organisers.

Against the news, fans quickly flooded social media with their two cents. Some said that Skomota and his management missed too many gigs.

On the other hand, some took a swipe at the promoters for booking him.
