Cassper Losing Relevence After AKA Death: Nota Baloyi
The beef between Cassper Nyovest and AKA kept people talking, kept South African Hip Hop alive, to a certain extent. If the charts weren’t heating up with their diss tracks, the timelines sure was feasting on the obvious jabs they took at each other.
Now that the Supa Mega is no more, many reckon that Cassper Nyovest will slowly lose relevance as the beef was what kept his career going.

Nota Baloyi shared his sentiments on the matter stating that he feels as though, Cassper Nyovest will no longer be relevant because AKA is dead.
“Cassper is the one who has lost the most out of all of this because that rivalry was what fueled his career,” said Nota Baloyi. “He’s got nothing left now. At least the rivalry kept him relevant.
“But now he’s got no music, no rivalry, he has nothing left.”
Nota reckons the beef was what the game needed but at some point they had to bury the hatchet and make some music together, but sadly that did not happen because AKA reached his demise.
“The beef was taking oxygen from the future of SA Hip Hop.”

Cassper reportedly told the Forbes family that his beef with AKA was exaggerated and made into something bigger than what it actually was.
A source told Sunday World, “Cassper Nyovest arrived there and told AKA’s family that the much-publicised beef between him and AKA was over-exaggerated and that they were getting along very well and shared the same vision. He then told the family that he would not be able to attend the funeral because he was flying out of the country on a business trip.”
When his death made news, he encouraged his fans to send love to the Megacy, “My sincere condolences goes out to Kiernan and Tebello’s families, colleagues and fans. May their souls rest in peace and their legacies be celebrated. May the Good lord be with all of you at this sad time.”
He then asked his fans to send love to AKA’s fans, “To all my fans, pls send all your love to the Megacy and family. The nation is mourning & could use more love and less evil.”
“Unfortunately I’ll be out of the country for work but if I was around I would’ve went. I would’ve went to the funeral too,” he said.
“No matter how you look at it, me and Kiernan shared a lot of great moments together and he contributed to my industry so I have to pay my respects.”
