‘Freeman should perform rituals to avoid jail’: Sangoma warns

Trouble continues to brew for Zimdancehall chanter Freeman HKD and now a sangoma has come forward issuing a stern warning concerning his fate and also defending him.

The sangoma, Sekuru Achapola, born Tsitse Njuma Musaiware, has revealed that Freeman’s troubles stem from his ancestors, who are displeased with him for turning his back on them.

Sekuru Achapola Defends Freeman

Speaking to H-Metro, Sekuru Achapola defended Freeman HKD stating that he is not an armed robber.

“For a fact, Freeman is not an armed robber, but he needs to respect his ancestors,” Sekuru Achapola said.

Sekuru Achapola asserted that Freeman must respect his ancestors as they are not happy with him.

Additionally, Sekuru Achapola claimed that Freeman is not an ordinary man. He revealed that he gets possessed by ancestral spirits when he is performing and that ancestral spirits lead him

Freeman gets possessed with his ancestral spirits when singing to the world as well as teaching people.
I am being told that Freeman must respect his ancestors and clan because he is not an ordinary man since he is led by his ancestral spirits.
Freeman is being invited by his ancestors now, we came across this while we were at our shrine and the issues are really serious.”

Sangoma Warns Freeman

Sekuru Achapola advised Freeman to brew traditional beer and perform rituals. He stated that Freeman risks being jailed for crimes he did not commit if does not perform the said rituals.

Freeman is blessed with the talent of hustling, and I was advised that he must brew traditional beer and perform rituals.

He added that Freeman must take his advice seriously.
