SK Khoza almost “killed” by his fiancee after beating in UK

Controversial Sthembiso “SK” Khoza, a South African actor, has reportedly been hospitalised in England after being beaten by his fiancée.

The actor, who has been absent from social media for about a month, shared the stunning news on Tuesday morning in a now-deleted live video on his Instagram page.

Khoza explained while lying in a hospital bed:

My fiancée almost killed me. I’d like to say to the women who physically abuse men out there, I’m not keeping quiet. Choice Kate Mathebula beat me, I have injuries all over my body right now.

Khoza, who showed his swollen upper lip and bruised neck, and the cuts on his arms and ears, said he wished his mother had been there when the incident took place.

“I just wish my mama was around. If my mom was here right now, she’d be dragging that girl; she’d be saying, ‘Don’t take her, officers; I’ll handle her.'”

When a fan asked him what had happened, Khoza, who had a bandage on his hand, was sparse with the details of what had led to the attack.

I don’t know. All I know is that I almost lost my ear tonight; I almost lost my finger tonight. I have two broken knees right now. From spatula to tin opener to a knife, now I’m lying in a hospital in England.

“How did I wrong her? I don’t even know. Either way, even if did something or said something, do I deserve to be beaten up? Is that what you’re trying to say?” he asked a fan.

In 2021, Khoza’s ex-fiancée, Ayanda Hlongwane, accused the actor of being abusive, but, in his live, Khoza said people should not think that he was getting a taste of his own medicine.

“I’ve never touched a woman in my life and, if that was the case, I’m pretty sure that when I was going to court for my ex-fiancée, there would have been a lot of other women who would have come forward and said, ‘Yeah, he’s hit me before.’ I’ve never hit a woman in my life; I never will.”

The former The Queen actor said he prayed his fiancée was in a holding cell, and he’d be pressing “some serious charges”. The police were present while he was live.

“I just want to set an example because we men are always scared to run to the police when we’re being abused. It’s easy for people to say ‘my husband hits me, my boyfriend hits me’, but, as men, we never go and open a case against women who hit us, and I’m just tired,” said Khoza.

Before ending his 16-minute video, the actor alleged that his fiancée was bipolar, and that he had recorded the whole incident to prove that he didn’t fight back.

Khoza didn’t reveal whether he was in England for work, holiday or just visiting his fiancée. Mathebula could not be reached for comment.
