‘You Manipulated My Influence’: Holy Ten Attacks Winky D

Hip-hop star Holy Ten has criticized Zimdancehall singer Winky D for forcing him to work on a controversial project at the expense of his influence.

Speaking to Star FM radio presenter, DJ Ollah 7, last night, Holy Ten said Winky D should have revealed his whole plan and the agenda when they made the song Ibotso.

”If you have a plan and you want an army to achieve an agenda tell the soldiers your whole plan,” he said.

He went on to claim that he is the biggest thing right now and when Winky D saw that, he sought to ride on it and push his agendas behind his back.

“People breathe Holy Ten, I am the sensation right now, so when you realise that don’t trick me.”

Holy Ten collaborated with Winky D on a song called Ibotso, which he says he now regrets being part of as it has been “politicised.”

Writing on Twitter, Holy Ten highlighted that the politicisation of the song is harming his brand.

“Activists, journalists, lawyers – Split opinions will not do any good for a brand that’s trying to serve & save everyone so help me by not acting like I’ve picked a side. Do not politicize a project that I’ve considered a mere honour to be a part of. I regret it now honestly”

Meanwhile, axed-Star FM radio presenter, DJ Mbale has shared his two cents on the issue saying Holy Ten excitedly went into a union with Winky D forgetting where his bread is buttered.

“Music is a very powerful weapon used to speak for the masses and to the masses, problem comes when a collabo is done by one who is in it for the people and the other in it for fame, now when masses react to the released song they interpret it according to their own narrative favouring the one who is in it for the people one who is in it for money regrets and the one who is in it for the people rejoices with the masses. So 2023, if you are an artist Think about your family before you release your music and never forget, were your bread is buttered because you cant serve two masters, once you release there’s no turning back.
