Tafadzwa Kanengoni Stung By Invisible Bees During Trial, Court Suspended

There was drama on Tuesday at Masvingo Provincial Magistrates’ court after Sisk suspected murderer, Tafadzwa Kanengoni claimed he is being stung by invisible bees during trial.

Kanengoni failed to respond to the magistrate, Bishard Chineka’s question on whether or not he was ready to proceed with trial after the postponement of the case on Feb 2.

Kanengoni who took his time when responding claimed he was having sleepless nights as he was being stung by bees in prison cells and even made gestures of chasing away the “bees”.

Kanengoni was asked more than 4 times whether or not he was ready to proceed with the case but he continued to say he could not sleep.

Tafadzwa Kanengoni (39) allegedly shot dead a Mucheke B tuckshop owner, Michael Munhungowarwa before police tracked and arrested him.

Michael Munhungowarwa (41) was shot and killed on Saturday evening as he and his wife were closing their tuckshop.

The robbers went away with an undisclosed amount of money after killing the businessman.

Reports suggest Kanengoni was arrested at a girlfriend’s place in Zvishavane.

ZRP spokesperson in Masvingo Province Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the story.

He added that investigations were in progress and full details will be given later.

A man died after an aggressive chicken which had previously attacked his granddaughter attacked him too.

Jasper Kraus was at his home in Roscommon, Ireland, when the Brahma chicken pounced, causing wounds to his left leg, an inquest heard.

The cancer survivor then suffered severe bleeding following the incident on 28 April 2022.

Jasper’s daughter Virginia Guinan said that on the morning of her dad’s death, she dropped groceries off at his house at around midday.

She told the inquest that her dad was fast asleep.

She said she didn’t want to wake him up because his dog had recently died and she said he was upset.

Virginia was later contacted by her dad’s tenant, Corey O Keeffe, who told her what had happened.
