Witch falls from flying saucer on way to mission

Believe it or not, chaos erupted in a Harare suburb of Mufakose Sunday morning when a young witch was discovered at around 3 am after reportedly falling from the sky in her flying basket.

The witch, identified as Ida Febi Zimbani, reportedly fell at a sangoma’s house in the suburb.

According to H Metro, she was flying to Mt Darwin with her colleagues when she crashed into Kudzai Chifombo’s yard. Witnesses reported that the woman said they were going to a funeral to eat human flesh.

The police interrogated her to find out if she had not lost her senses. Some people in the crowd that gathered outside Chifombo’s yard wanted to attack her, but they were dispersed by the police.

Chifombo revealed that they called the police to avoid any harm to the woman.

Angry residents ran amok baying for the witch’s blood. They only managed to destroy the beads on her waist, hands and neck.

The police took Idah to Marimba Police Station.

She claims that her friends shoved her off the winnowing basket.

“She is not happy about her friends who threw her out of the winnowing basket and it was the first time this had happened,” said a witness.

“People suspect that she is a witch and it seems her muthi was overpowered by this woman’s powers at this house since she is a sangoma.

“Neighbours heard noise of something falling down around 3 am, but they did not bother only to find this nαked woman in the yard around 5 am. She was then taken into a toilet to hide her nαkedness.”

Chifombo said they were forced to call the police.

“We wanted police to disperse the people because they could have ended up killing her. We wanted her to go back to her house.”

She narrated how Idah fell.

“We heard some weird noise but did not think it was something serious. We thought it was a cat or a dog

“We then found this woman looking dazed in the yard. Where was she going at such an hour without clothes if she is not a witch?

Zimbabweans expressed mixed emotions about the young witch who fell in Mufakose.
