Somizi Thrilled By Julius Malema FNB Stunt: “He Took My Idea”

South African television personality Somizi Mhlongo was thrilled by Julius Malema’s stunt at the recently held 10th-anniversary celebration held at the FNB stadium on Saturday.

Revealing his amusement, Somizi says all the theatrics was exactly what he had in his own imagination and that he could not help but share with South Africans how he feels.

He wittingly said that Julius Malema “pulled a Beyonce stunt”.

“With that red lift going up and the pyrotechnics and the special effects going up. Did Julius Malema just (take) my idea off my feet, like a rag pulled under my feet because that was the plan I had when I become the president, the first openly gay president in the world? The president of South Africa. That was my inauguration appearance.” He said.

Julius Malema did surprise many when he pulled that stunt and social media has been going haywire and has shown appreciation for his and his party’s creativity.

Recently, however, he has been trending after the Democratic Alliance party expressed disdain at ‘racist’ chants he made by singing the “Kill The Boer, Kill The Farmer” song.

This has even drawn the attention of billionaire Elon Musk who has called it a call to perform “genocide against white South Africans”.

His chant also coincided with the killing of a white South African farmer Theo Bekker (79) was brutally murdered by 4 thugs thereafter.

According to reports, the attackers beat him with an iron bar, slit his throat, and then beat his wife Marlinda.

This came 24 hours after EFF leader Julius Malema told a crowd of 90k people to “kill the Boer (Whites), kill the White farmer”

The attackers were apprehended later in the day after they crashed the car they had stolen in Villiers in the Free State.

Mpumalanga police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said the attack happened after Theo Bakker went to open a gate on the farm around 08:30 to allow his cattle to graze.

Two of the stolen firearms, a pistol and a revolver were found in their possession. The shotgun was allegedly left at the crash scene.
