Isolezwe claims that the 17-year-old actor, who plays the younger version of King Sohlangana in the Mzansi Magic drama series Shaka Ilembe, was expelled from school after skipping four weeks of class to film the show.
Shaka Ilembe’s producers had to step in and explain the issue to the school before they could take him back.
However, this was not the first time that the actor’s school was unhappy with his acting commitments. It is believed that the actor was also told to quit acting as it interferes with his studies when he scored a role in Uzalo back in August 2022.
Tsepo Doncabe, who loves acting and has been doing theatre from a young age, said that he was not going to give up on his passion and that he was determined to finish his matric.
