Zimbabwean woman caught with boyfriend’s head in a bag in South Africa

Police are on the hunt for a 33-year-old Zimbabwean woman following the disturbing find of a mutilated body inside a suitcase in Wattville, Benoni, situated on the East Rand. The discovery, made by crime prevention wardens on Saturday, has prompted a search for the implicated woman.

“The wardens were conducting patrols when they came across a man and woman pushing a heavy suitcase. The pair was stopped and while searching the bag, the Zimbabwean woman ran away and a mutilated body was found inside the bag. The man, 53, was arrested,” Nevhuhulwi said on Saturday afternoon.

“Further investigations by the detectives revealed the woman was the victim’s girlfriend and that they were staying together in Actonville.”

According to reports, during the interrogation, the suspect said they were taking the head and legs found to a sangoma in eMandleni.

Police requested anyone with information that can assist in tracing and locating the woman to contact their nearest police station or the Crime Stop line at 08600-10111.
