Woman still reeling from pain of divorce

A 54-YEAR-OLD woman, Wadzanayi Munhuweyi, says she is still reeling from the pain of her divorce, 34 years ago, and has not had s_x since she was ditched by her husband, at the age of 20.
She has two children.
Munhuweyi, who is popularly known as Mbuya Hwedza, makes a living by selling clothes to the artisanal miners at Nyamidzi gold fields in Hwedza.
She told her amazing story to H-Metro.
“I was painfully divorced by my beloved husband after having two children with him, worse, I was still an innocent 20-year-old girl,” she said.
“From there, I just stayed on my own, slept in same room with my kids, they never witnessed any man with me from there.
“It is now 34 years and I am now sharing my bedroom with my grandchildren.
“I have had no s__xual relationship with any man because, if you are really heartbroken, after being divorced the way I was, you never trust any man in your whole life.
“You always think that you will fall into the same pit as these vultures.
“Because of that fear, I just decided to stay like this, up to today.”
She added:
“Today’s divorced women and men are lazy to learn from really worse or best life experiences and they are different from us.
“Most of them divorce and automatically move on.
“You will even think they moved on before being divorced.”
She says she has her own health challenges.
“I now have high blood pressure and visual impairment challenges but I will only go to the hospital when I am 60 years.
“When I get to that age I can get free treatment, isn’t it?
“Ndine tsanga irikuda kunoparwa, unfortunately, one eye is quickly getting worse but this other one is still better but there is pain too.”
She even has some advice for the Warriors.
“Firstly, I would like to congratulate our Zimbabwe national soccer team for drawing against Nigeria recently.
“They must stay spiritually clean by staying away from sexual intercourse, especially when they are playing for the national team because this spoils their game.
Many spirits will be watching over them and we will also be praying for them in flesh and I can tell you that hunting and s_x don’t go hand-in-hand.”
