This leaked invitation was not the sole revelation; photographs capturing Zahara and her husband, Mpho Xaba, during a picturesque photoshoot for what appeared to be their lobola ceremony, were also made public.

An insider, who shared their insights with ZiMoja, disclosed that Zahara had been hospitalized two days after the lobola payment. She was swiftly transported to a private hospital in the northern part of Jozi, where she was admitted to a medical ward. As her condition began to worsen, she was subsequently transferred to the ICU two weeks later.

“A relative must have gotten pissed off when they heard that the Xaba family were coming back to pay the outstanding amount of lobola. We suspect that Zahara was either poisoned or muthi was put into her drink ,” the concerned source says a relative of Zahara told her.
