Fight Over Thigh Vendor Turns Deadly

On Friday night, an argument over a lady of the night turned deadly, leading to a terrible event that claimed the life of one man. The event took place in the Manditanga Night Club in Tsanzaguru, Rusape, and shocked the locals.

As they fought for the attention of a nightclub hostess only known as Maria, two guys engaged in a heated argument, Liberty Masibi and Charles Ngara. Witnesses related how the argument swiftly got out of hand and had disastrous results.

“The late Charles Ngara was also in the same bar, drinking beer with the lady of the night only identified as Maria. After some time, Masibi and Ngara had a misunderstanding over Maria,” shared an anonymous witness with the Manica Post.

The altercation soon spilt outside the nightclub, with Masibi and Ngara engaging in a physical confrontation. In a shocking turn of events, Masibi allegedly produced a knife and stabbed Ngara on the thigh, resulting in severe bleeding. Despite the intervention of fellow patrons, the damage had been done.

“Masibi suddenly withdrew a knife from his pocket and stabbed Ngara on the thigh. Ngara bled profusely,” the witness continued.

The tragic incident reached its conclusion at Rusape General Hospital, where Ngara was admitted in critical condition. Regrettably, he succumbed to his injuries, prompting a surge of grief in the local community.

“Ngara died upon admission. Masibi was arrested by police at the hospital,” disclosed the anonymous witness.

The loss of life has left Tsanzaguru reeling, shedding light on the dangers associated with escalating conflicts. While Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the national police spokesperson, remains unavailable for comment, Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Norbert Muzondo, emphasized the importance of understanding the consequences of such altercations.
