Celebrity dancer Skomota from South Africa has formally entered the political sphere by joining the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL).

Rumor has it that he will be one of their youthful candidates running for councilor.

With his impressive record growing, it appears that the possibilities are endless for Skomota.

Many on social media expressed shock at him endorsing the ruling party. ANC is doing all it can to secure a victory in this year’s elections hence leveraging such a popular celebrity.

Who is Skomota?

Skomota, whose true name is Ngwana Sesi, is from Limpopo and rose to fame on the internet towards the end of last year. With Shebeshxt, another contemporary craze, also originating from Limpopo, it appears that the province has South Africa by the throat these days.

The 38-year-old entertainer Skomota gained notoriety after hitting it big and winning an incredible R3 million from Betway. It is reported that as he was heading to Betway to pick up his winnings, he also met his soul match.

Ever since the win, his life changed dramatically, he became a celebrity in his own right. As he became a media darling, him being invited to the top events in Limpopo. It is no surprise that the ANC has called upon him, for their campaign for the upcoming general elections.
