Hungry and thirsty, this is how Muvhevhi was caught

Jaison Muvhevhi, an ex-Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officer who was on the run after shooting and killing three people in Wedza last Friday afternoon, was apprehended in Mozambique today.

Police sources confirmed the arrest and said they are preparing paperwork to extradite him from the neighbouring country.

According to sources, Muvhevhi took a biker from Marymount in Mutare, failed to pay for the ride, and then produced a pistol.

He then took a kombi from Mumango to Manica (Machipanda, Mozambique).
