Vusi Ma R5’s Family Horrified After Suspected Rituals At His Grave

Bacardi music pioneer Vusi Ma R5’s family say the images of his vandalised grave have them fearing for their lives and left heartbroken.

The talented Bacardi musician Vusi Ma R5’s brother DJ Cooper told Daily Sun that they were shocked by the images of his vandalised tombstone and are now fearing for their lives.

DJ Cooper said he found out on Monday at about 1 pm and found it was really damaged when they went to investigate.

The Bacardi musician’s brother adds that he doesn’t know why his grave was vandalised and he suspects some rituals were done.

“I found a lot of things there and I don’t know what was going on. I don’t know if some rituals were done there or what,” added his brother.

He said he doesn’t know who is responsible for the damage, he’s disappointed by what happened and doesn’t have answers. “I am disappointed by what happened. I don’t have answers and I am still asking myself a lot of questions,” he said.

The DJ adds that the family is still coming to terms with his death, they’re not coping and live in fear after people damaged his grave.

“They have taken my brother and it’s not easy to accept. We have to move on with life, but how will we live if they do something like this. If these people can do something like this, what will happen next? We are fearing for their lives.”

VUSI MA R5 MURDERED

The Bacardi king, whose real name was Itumeleng Mosoeu, was gunned down on 30 January and buried at ODI cemetery in Mabopane, Tshwane on 5 February.

Sources told Zimoja in January that Mosoeu passed away in a hail of bullets just outside the Soshanguve club, where he was performing.

“He received a call and minutes later he left the venue. He was shot multiple times outside the club and was declared dead at the scene.”

Fans of the talented were saddened by images of the musician vandalised tombstone on social media and have asked ‘his killers’ to let him rest in peace.
