Scott Sakupwanya threatens to unleash violence after ‘defeat’ in Mabvuku-Tafara election {Audio}

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission is yet to announce the results for the 2023 Presidential, Parliamentary and Council elections but V11 forms circulating on social media are already painting a gloomy picture for Mabvuku Tafara aspiring candidate Scott Sakupwanya.

There are some V11 forms from Batanai Primary School circulating on Twitter showing Scott losing to CCC candidate Munyaradzi Kufahakutizwi at some polling stations.

As such, there are Whatsapp voice notes circulating on social media allegedly belonging to Scott Sakupwanya or his lieutanants threatening to unleash violence on the ‘disloyal’ voters.

The ‘New Mr Gold’ spent hundreds of thousands to lure voters and even brought in renowned former heavy-weight boxer Floyd Mayweather to Mabvuku-Tafara.

Moreso, he revamped dilapidated roads, paid school fees for hundreds of children as well as provided free buses ferrying people between town and Mabvuku.

Despite all these efforts, Scott Sakupwanya is receiving a bit of shellacking from his CCC opponent.

The Whatsapp audio reveals an angry man promising to deal with Mabuku residents after the vote counting is done.

“Why did you take my money if you knew you were going to betray me? We will deal with you sell outs”, part of the audio says.

Another woman can be heard saying, “We will impose a curfew, no one will have transport to go to town, we are just waiting for the voting process to end.”

Social media users were jubilant after early indications that things look bad for Scott Sakupwanya In Mabvuku-Tafara constituency despite generously spending on his political campaign.
