Man who leaked Mai TT’s daughter Fifi’s dirty images walks free

Social media influencer Mai TT’s daughter Fifi topped trends last week after her ex-boyfriend leaked her private images leading to a complaint being filed.

Amin Mhaka was arrested for sharing Felisha Murata’s images online and he appeared before Magistrate’s court.

Last week, there was a social media meltdown after pictures belonging to Felisha went viral. She had sent the images to Amin in confidence when they were in love.

Last week, Mai TT, whose real name is Felistas Murata, addressed the scandal in a long on Facebook. She revealed that the former boyfriend had been threatening to leak the pictures since last year. He even blackmailed Felisha into paying him so he doesn’t post them.

Mai TT disclosed:

“There is just a young lady who was in a relationship and trusted her boyfriend, and after breaking up, the guy leaked the pictures. I got to find out that she was under threats the whole of last year but never told me about it. She would pay this guy not to release until she couldn’t afford anymore. My daughter was wrong in trusting a boy, and I don’t support such. No matter I failed relationships, I didn’t train my kids in that manner.”

After reporting the case, the ZRP arrested Amin Mhaka and detained him at Highlands Police Station. Yesterday, he made his first appearance at the Harare Magistrates Court.

According to iHarare, while sitting on the bench af the Harare Magistrates Court at Rotten Row, Amin cast a depressed and pitiful figure. His youthfully-trendy look was overshadowed by the criminal charges hanging on his head.

One woman, possibly a parent or a relative, visited and sat beside him outside the court for a chat. Later, two female police officers sat on his left flank while he was stationary on the edge of the bench.

The court later granted the 19-year-old US$50 bail, and he walked free. He will appear in court later for his trial.
