How to Watch NIT Quarterfinals: Stream UAB vs. Vanderbilt in Men's College Basketball Live, TV Channel

No. 4-seeded UAB will take on No. 2-seeded Vanderbilt in the quarterfinal round of the National Invitational Tournament with a trip to the semifinals on the line.

The Blazers finished their season 27-9 overall and 14-6 in Conference USA. They lost the conference championship and the NCAA bid to FAU in the final.

After receiving an invite to the NIT, they won their first game 88-60 on the back of 26 points from KJ Buffen. In the second round, UAB advanced with a 77-59 win over Morehead State with a 25-point performance from Ty Brewer leading it to this matchup in the quarterfinals with an SEC school.

The Commodores finished their season 22-14 overall and tied for the No. 4 team in the SEC. They lost to Texas A&M in the semifinals of the conference tournament. In the NIT, they matched up first with Yale, beating them 71-62 to advance.

In the second round, they took on Michigan and just barely edged them out 66-65 on a game-winning layup with 11 seconds left by Tyrin Lawrence who finished the game with 24 points on 10-for-17 shooting.

Zoe said they were moved enough to record their own version of “It’s OK,” which – to their surprise — prompted a response from Nightbirde, who “responded so beautifully.” The anthem then became a “pillar of strength” as the choir continued through their own difficult times. “We just want to continue her legacy, and that’s why we chose this song,” said Zoe. But most visibly moved by the performance was Cowell, who said to those around him, “This brought back so many memories for me.” Audiences and Crews clapped as Cowell wrestled with his emotions. The epic victory comes just months after Nightbirde’s family and the Nightbirde Foundation released her posthumous debut album, which continues to inspire millions.
