Zim Cyber City Investors In Shocking U-turn

Harare | In a shocking turn of events, The cyber city investors are allegedly selling the land they were given by the government.

The editor who was briefed by a source who alleges that the cyber city hasn’t taken off as yet and the whole and the investors has gone quiet which led some of the investors to sell some of the land so that they kick start the project.

According to the information we have, the 500+ workers who were brought in as cyber city workers have all been deported.

“The workers that were brought in as cyber city team were all deported because the truth is they were not really here for the cyber city project but for setting up betting shops and platforms,” the source said.

Lavish villas, luxury townhouses, high-tech offices, landscaped gardens, and a 15-storey commercial tower. These weren’t the plans for the latest building development in Dubai but for a city which was deemed to be the next capital city of Zimbabwe.

Despite having one of the world’s highest unemployment and inflation rates, a debilitating currency crisis, and falling foreign direct investment, the project had put the President in high spirits as he had believed in it.

Zimbabwe is currently in the season for elections and the whole debacle will not align with the president’s mantra, “Zimbabwe is open for business” and its 2030 vision.

Zimbabwe Government has continued to promote the move to shun away from corruption and bribery “chioko muhomwe” hence these guys did not succeed with their plans.

It is shocking to learn of the deportation of the crew that was destined for the cyber city projects, and their involvement in fraud and sports betting.

The sports betting saga comes during a time Mulk is expected to hosts his cricket tournament in Zimbabwe which then raises questions on match fixing as the former has been accused of such in the past.

This has been confirmed beyond doubt since Mulk is associated with Indian fraudsters who are engaged in illicit betting in India and Dubai and are wanted by both countries. Mulk should clear this from India if Chandrakah Saurabhi, the 28-year-old Billionare he brought us, is not on the prowl.

We are well aware that the team sent to the nation by Saurabhi failed to provide police reports from their home country, and that Mulk was pressuring the government to process their permits without documentation, which the government denied.

Immigration had to raid these Indians and ask them to leave the country in order to combat corruption. This demonstrates that the government has zero tolerance for corruption, and Zimbabwe security is very competent.

There is proof from Anticorruption, Immigration, and the OPC to indicate that he is a man without credibility in all of this.

The Zim Cyber City had been considered the most exciting real estate project in Africa, The proposal was and is still supported by H.E. Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of Zimbabwe, who had given Mulk International the unique right to develop a special economic zone for blockchain technology and digital assets.

For all organizations and people who would be working in the area and residing there, Zim Cyber City had promised to make it easier to get special window approval for blockchain and digital asset licensing, bank accounts, office space, and high-end residential living.

Real estate owners in Zim Cyber City were meant to profit from a variety of alluring incentives.

More will be provided on the issue as the story is still unfolding.
