Zodwa Wabantu’s kuku breaks the internet

South Africa’s exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu is on the top trends again after pictures of her exposing her kuku made the rounds on the internet.

The 38-year-old from Soweto is known for her hot dance moves, but Zodwa’s explicit photos the talk of the town.

The photos show Zodwa Libram performing on stage, wearing the sangoma beads, black bra and a G-string; men seemed to be very excited to see her kuku.

One man was seen with his head in between her thighs.

People had different opinions about her performance, with some criticising her.

Zodwa said whatever she’s doing on stage is her way of putting food on the table.

“When I’m on stage, I make sure that I deliver. I live my life the way I want it. It’s fine with me as long as it adds something to my bank balance,” said Zodwa.

The entertainer said that trending on social media shows that she’s doing her job perfectly, adding that her ancestors were happy with her.

“I get the bookings left, right, and centre. This proves that I’m doing something good, and when I’m entertaining, people are talking. Dogs only bark at a moving car. My body is my source of income. Everyone must understand that,” said Zodwa.

She said she’s aware that people, including other zangomas, are criticising her for performing half-nαked while she’s wearing the sangoma beads.

“We have different ancestors. My ancestors understand my job. They’re the ones who bring me money. If they didn’t like what I was doing, they wouldn’t allow me to continue with my job. They allow me to use my body for a living. And there is nothing anyone can do about it,” she said.

Zodwa was booked at The Grand Cafe in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni on Saturday, 8 June.

The cafe’s manager, Nkululeko Dlamini, said they booked her for a surprise performance.

He said when she came in, people, especially the men, were over the moon.

“She did what we paid her for, to entertain especially men. And she gave a very good performance. Everything went well,” said Nkululeko.
